Jazzie the Actor, Presenter and Entertainer

Jazzie burst onto the UK Urban Scene with his first performance on Channel U, Sky Channel 370, featuring on the show “Boyed”; a Hidden Camera and Reality TV Show Jazzie had co-produced with various artists being victims of (varied) pranks carried out on them.

His talent is becoming increasingly popular amongst teenagers and young adults today, who Jazzie serves as a strong role model. His second project was co-hosting in a TV show, the “Illout Show”, giving him the opportunity to interview more UK artists.

By the end of 2009 Jazzie had his own show – “The Jazzie Show” – aired on Channel AKA, showing Jazzie’s growth as a performer, writer and producer where the show included comedy sketches, releases and features of exclusive music videos. In the show Jazzie interviewed many UK and American artists including Tinie Tempah, Ndubz, Chipmunk, D-12, Jasmine Sullivan, Jay Shaun, Pink, Keri Hilson, Wiley, Bashy, Tinchy Stryder, and JLS to name a few. Following the success of The Jazzie Show viewings for Channel AKA increased significantly. To reflect their appreciation the team decided to give Jazzie the opportunity to produce a Christmas Special for their viewers in 2009.

As Jazzie has grown as an artist within the Entertainment industry so too has his appeal within the Media fields. He later participated in an interview with Twin B on BBC 1xtra aired on radio, and promoted on their website.

“I like to make sure I keep it moving with anything that I’m doing, my own creative input is vital. If you’re going to make it happen, you’ve got to do it now, making sure the fans are inspired and entertained is what the movement was always about.”

Further to this he has opened a number of concerts for US Hip-Hop Artists, such as Flo-Rida (at the O2 Academy, Birmingham) and The Game (Hammersmith Apollo, London). Each venue filling over 3000 people and he successfully captured and engaged the audience anticipating performances on each night.

Jazzie also featured in an exclusive article for Rewind Magazine where he explains what he was about as a young UK Entertainer, how he started in the field, and his progression throughout.

Jazzie is not only proud of his British up-bringing and family life, but he also takes pride in his Congolese heritage, thus he was privileged to host the Congolese Independence event held at the Stratford Rex in 2010. Not only is Jazzie a role model that shows courage, he also shows drive, ambition, and determination, recognised for facing all challenges that arise.

He has now launched his Film-based Acting Career with a lead role in the first UK Urban Comedy film Anuvahood, released on 18th March 2011, alongside established names such as, Adam Deacon, Eddi Kadi, Jaime Winston, Levi Roots, Linda Robson, and Richard Blackwood.

BBC Sketch Show

April 2011, Jazzie has now got his own sketch show with the Bbc and he is acting alongside Ashley Walters and Adam Deacon. Jazzie continues to show his talent in different ways by taking his writing skill to the Bbc and reaching out to a bigger audience. The show has done really well and has been number 1 on the Bbc website for a few weeks and has been a real success.
